HTC Launches Desire 10 Lifestyle in India for ₹15,990

Taiwan-based company HTC Corporation on Thursday launched a new smartphone "HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle" in India at Rs 15,990.The Desire 10 Lifestyle was recently unveiled alongside another Desire phone, the Desire 10 Pro. The Desire 10 Lifestyle will be available for buying starting from September 30 exclusively on Amazon India.
The Desire 10 Lifestyle is, in no way, related to the HTC 10. And yet, it has one thing in common. The phone is banking heavily on its looks and probably its feel as well, to help, HTC come out of its slump in profits. Its pricing is also clear indication that HTC is looking to change its game, ever so slightly, to get back into the game.

"Our Desire line is about to make its biggest leap since the original Desire. Inspired by many of the same innovations that have made the flagship HTC 10 so popular, we are bringing these innovations to the Desire 10 Lifestyle," said Faisal Siddiqui, President-South Asia, HTC, in a statement. The Desire 10 Lifestyle has an all plastic body with golden trims thrown in just to up that premium quotient. The phone is also flatter than HTC's previous Desire phones and has a camera module that is, without a doubt, its most striking feature. The Desire 10 Lifestyle will be available in two colors: Stone Black and Polar White.

The Lifestyle comes with a 5.5-inch 720p display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory which is further expandable by up to 2TB via mciroSD card. The phone sports a 13-megapixel camera on the rear with autofocus and LED flash and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. Just like the HTC 10, the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle supports 24-bit high-res audio.

The dualSIM phone runs Android Marshmallow and 4G LTE connectivity option. It is backed by a 2,700mAh battery. The smartphone is also equipped with HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition for crystal clear audio performance.
